If you have a four-legged friend, you can take it with you during the summer holidays. Many of the accommodation facilities in Comacchio's beaches, like camping villages, hotel villages, apartments accept more and more frequently the whole family including small or big pets.
Many of Comacchio's beaches are open to dogs with with dedicated areas equipped for them.

The Municipality of Comacchio has identified the following locations, stretches of free beach where access for dogs is allowed:
Lido di Volano: stretch of free beach between the beach clubs Bagno Franco and New Age
Lido delle Nazioni: free beach, privately owned, located between the beach clubs Albatros and Messico
Porto Garibaldi: stretch of free beach south of the Park Emilio.
Lido degli Estensi: stretch of free beach next to the Blue Moon beach club
Lido di Spina: free beach next to the Lido beach club.
