CARNIVAL ON COMACCHIO WATER: BORN IN 2012, BUT ALREADY TRADITION

Comacchio is a place that remains impressed: the waterways, the historic buildings and the gastronomic experiences make it unique, an indelible memory - even more so in some periods of the year. One of these is certainly the carnival which attracts thousands of tourists every year to admire the parades of the floats on the water, an inimitable sight nowhere else.

The city is filled with masks and above all the canals come alive with batanas (the traditional Comacchio boats) in an allegorical parade, each dressed according to a theme chosen by the many volunteers and artisans who work hard to create real itinerant works of art.

The allegorical batanas create an imposing procession that winds through the waterways of the city, everyone can choose the corner, the bridge or the best way to admire this show. The appointment is for the 2020 carnival!
